  3. If you can, purge the tank with nitrogen several times, this should help remove the hydrocarbons. Pipeliner32

  5. Good for you. I needed my welder everyday since last week, my power was out and I had to use the generator on my welder to supply power to my house, didn't get to use it as a welder. Pipeliner32

  8. I will try this water squirt bottle for my forge to control the fire. Pipeliner32
  9. Good looking anvil. I also bought a old anvil myself, very rusty. I used a wire brush to knock off the dirt and rust. Used a graphite dry based spray to help keep it dry.

  11. Thanks for the replies. I guess I need the mentor to help me in welding on pipelines. My boss has welded on pipelines while under flow, he should help. Bill
  12. anyone on the list is a welder on pipelines? I current job and boss wants me to learn to weld pipelines. Any good comments
  13. I have a old mousehole anvil. Just wondering if anyone on the list has ever grinded of all the rust around the horn and sides of the anvil.
  14. I use a Lincoln ac 225, I also have a Lincoln Ranger on my service truck plus oxy/ac tanks.
