Thanks a lot for the comments. It was in the plan to put some walls around to keep the coal. So far, it's not a problem to control the air gate and the clinker breaker. I'll use it a little more before make changes. I'll keep you posted !

Here's my first real coal forge. The firepot is from Newman, Ontario, Canada... it's built very heavy duty ! I love that !

Nice finds! A 5 inches Columbian legvise and a saw bench that will be used as a workbench. Why when you buy a used anvil or vise there is always paint on it ???

Today, I just made the sawer's stand.

Using a cross (4-ways) with a plug instead of drilling the top.... It's a good Idea. Hofi should (as if he needed advice ) turns the burners 90 degrees to avoid that the holes face together.

A little hood and a fan.... the fan is really quiet !
