ThomasPowers
My grandfather is going on an Honor Flight to Washington DC in September; he's one of the few Marine survivors of the Battle of Iwo Jima, I new he was young; but I just learned that he signed up for the Marines on his 18th birthday in March and went to basic as soon as he graduated High School in May/June that year. A couple of generations of Marines in our family will be accompanying him.

Frosty
Tell your Grandfather Frosty says, thank you, for me please. I wish I had something to say that expressed the level of gratitude I feel for anybody who took the job of fighting for us. Best I can do is say thank you, I hold him in my highest regards. Frosty The Lucky.

Scott NC
I hope he has fun! Not long ago my brother was presented a Quilt of Valor. It's great to see people care. I was on the USS Iwo Jima once but the food was so bad I went back to my own ship!
