ThomasPowers
As I said they ranged from Crazy expensive to Crazy cheap in the NM, TX and AZ places I checked CL on. As I get them for 20 USCents a pound at the scrapyard faster than I use them; the drive usually costs more than I pay locally. (I guess my most unusual find was in a 100+ year old neighborhood in Columbus Ohio where 2 blocks from my house a Florist threw a large tyre in their dumpster; they had been using it in the front window display and changed the display and threw it out.) Glenn
Take the pack to a shoe repair shop, or a leather shop, and ask if they can repair the item. May want to contact a seamstress what makes clothes and ask if they can make the repair.
