codyj90
My friend recently passed away and his wife is wanting to sell some things. Any idea what to ask for this forge?
Glenn
Where are you located? Shipping could be a real issue in the price.

Glenn
When you get a chance, post the items in the tailgating section of the site. Lots of folks on the site that may be local to you and interested.

Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Having the make and more pictures would help. See if there is a name plate on it somewhere. If it's working or not will affect the price too along with if it's propane or natural gas.
codyj90
The only place i could find a name was on a gauge, but couldn't find anything about it.

ThomasPowers
Johnson Pedestal forge, most likely Natural gas. They are powerful high new, (search on johnson pedestal forge) but on the other hand I bought mine for US$80 at a school auction in Columbus Ohio. Have you checked with your local ABANA affiliate to see if anyone was hunting one?
codyj90
No I haven't, but i will. Thank you
Frosty
Johnson Gas Appliance pedestal forge. Usually runs natural gas but can be jetted for propane, Johnson still supports virtually anything they ever made. If you send a pic to their web site they'll ID it for you or tell you what to look for to ID it. We had these in every metal shop class I took from jr. high, high and college. It's worth what someone will give for it but without knowing if and how well it works I can't guess what kind of asking price to put on it. Frosty The Lucky.
