58er
Decided I can no longer live with a little detailing anvil. Had piece of 2" plate laying around. Pretty soft. But I can already see the great things we will do together.
Arthur210
Why lay it on its side when you could have put it on end? That would have given you more metal under your hammer.
Frosty
Too late of course but why cut it at all? Cut the stand lower and make the holder with a couple set screws so you can rotate the anvil to the desired set of bottom dies. You'd have 4 anvils twice as heavy with twice the depth of rebound. Something to think about next time eh? I have volumes of those on file. Frosty The Lucky.
Hammerfall
Did you cut that with an angle grinder?
Millhand
Se Michigan? Im up by Cadillac and have a nice 150 lb hb ill make you a member deal on or some rr track ill give you. Not that plate wont make a usable anvil. Im sure it will do just fine. Looks good to me.
