Lou L
When I was in high school my mentor, a history teacher, loaned me his rare copy of The History of Torture Throughout the Ages by George Ryley Scott. It turned out to be an excellent, if not mortifying read. It is very difficult and expensive to get but you can read it online with all of the gory images at https://archive.org/details/historyoftorture1959scot It starts with an introduction to the psychology and social impact of torture but includes oodles of first hand accounts from witnesses and torturers notes. I imagine you will get some project ideas there!
ThomasPowers
Well I'm not lending out my copy of "The Girdle of Chastity" even if a lot of the research is quite suspect!

Frosty The Lucky. You sure that you didn't mean becoming an iPadophile? You're gonna get one of those computer viruses, or Visual Aids! ThomasPowers
Back to smithing! I'm going to the scrapyard Saturday with one of my students---he does the heavy lifting.
Lou L
I wanted to just quote each of these responses and point out how funny and awesome it was but it would be redundant. Suffice it to say that every post after my last filled me with child-like glee.
