Politicians don't want an educated voter they ask too many questions, demand accountability and have the silly idea that the politician works for the voter.  They have seen to the trashing of public education.  Problem now is we are in the 2nd and 3rd generation of poorly educated folks with no idea what they should be doing, what the rules should be and dependent on someone to tell them what to think and do. 

What is the fix;  Hopefully not Last Rites.  How about Term limits.  How about a VUI law.  Politicians at all levels local. state and federal have to be sober and off drugs before they can vote.  No special interest money to the politicians that in itself will cause limited terms.  Wonder why in the French Revolution the rulers and politicians were the first to loose their heads.
