JPH
Hello: Just finished this up today from a blade I hammered out a week or so ago. It's a 27 7/8" long three core twist/counter twist offset pattern "Dark Age" style sword in 1070, L-6 and 1095 steel with some SS HT foil just because.. Full length fuller on both sides, one piece Bovine Ivory grip with SS studs and phosphor bronze mounts. This is one of my "generic" swords for stock on my website. Didn't turn out all that bad for a couple of afternoon's worth of puttering about and goofing off a bit. JPH
JHCC
Oh, that all my puttering could be so refined!

TheoRockNazz
Wow... that's a beaut, I'd love to cut some tatami with that. Your wording is always funny, almost like you're too humble; I feel like you should brag a little tiny bit more
Buzzkill
If my puttering turned out pieces like that I'd quit my current job.
SpankySmith
I've never puttered ANYTHING that well. Nice.
Frosty
No comment on your "humility" Jim, we see examples all the time. What I'd LOVE to see is something you claim to have been a challenge. How about a non-putter project? Hmmmm? Frosty The Lucky.
Crantius
Looks like a spatha. A sword popular with the Romans and later the Vikings (i.e. early dark ages as you said).
