robsmith Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 I was just wandering if anyone had an idea of what this 250lb fisher anvil is worth,there is not one single chip or anything on the anvil top.I would consider selling if the price is right im in northern mo. not any forgers round here i know of, i have seen fishers on craigslist here but really rough and chipped and smaller. In which case you should expect anything from $2-4 per pound. More in some cases. Fisher's are usually pretty popular and one in that condition would sell pretty easily. Frozenforge Posted September 9, 2015 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Here in Alaska what appears to be NOS (new old stock) 250 lb Fisher would be gone very quickly at $4 to $5 /lb. Very dependent upon location but in that condition I think 3 to 4 $/lb would be unreasonable, not too much a buyer could complain about in regards to condition. I would suspect NJAnvilman would be interested in this if you are in the N.E. Part of the country.Please tell me you live in Alaska, fingers crossed!!! Nice Anvil pictures are so distracting that I didn't even notice you said you were in northern MO. SIGH I guess its a good thing I live up here otherwise I would have an anvil addiction problem.
