TODD AND BRUCE IN ILLINOIS im where the pony express started and jesse james ended (SUPPOSEDLY) on the james part,SAINT JOSEPH MO. All i know is 10 years ago my grandma bought a place and was filled i pulled this out and loaded it in a pickup MYSELF i just saw something there but never used it afraid of damaging ,it sit fer 10 years on top of years the old man had it ,didnt know much about it but i know now it aint bad i do not use. I am a doubles driver by night im gitn ready fer bed what would be your top dollar i know you would drive and i know time and gas xxxx i wish i would have dragged that forge out of that place too. SORRY IM COMPUTER ILLITERATE!!! I DONT KNOW HOW TO PM.

I was just wandering if anyone had an idea of what this 250lb fisher anvil is worth,there is not one single chip or anything on the anvil top.I would consider selling if the price is right im in northern mo. not any forgers round here i know of, i have seen fishers on craigslist here but really rough and chipped and smaller.

Thanks all fer the replies I live in st joe mo I have never used it myself I've had it bout 15 yrs found it in an old house my grand parents bought and put it in my garage I still use my concrete floor fer poundin I think I'll deal with the chips in my concrete rather than beat on this thing when I do sell it I will let I forge iron know first of all I dont know of any smiths round here.
