May 19, 201511 yr Hello Folks - Has anyone seen / does anyone recognize this german anvil makers Mark? From a 320lb South German pattern anvil.Cheers,Klammer Edited May 19, 201511 yr by Klammer
May 19, 201511 yr I can't help anything else but this:The sign says: Amboss (anvil) - Heimann (name of possible manufacturer), Berghausen - Rheinland (it's a name (Berghausen) of a small village about 50 km from Frankfurt, in Rheinland-Pfalz county in Germany). I couldn't find anything telling about manufacturing anvils there. But it doesn't mean anything. I'd be pretty sure that your anvil was made there.Happy hammering on it!Gergely

April 27, 20179 yr And for some reason, The Doors' "Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?" is now going through my head....
April 27, 20179 yr Author Thank you folks. Amazing rebound but very little ring which is nice. Lucked out in that given my tinnitus lol.
