Smokeman
Hi all, I decided to try my luck with a Bass instead of another KOI. My house is starting to smell with all these fish around ! I used another old plow disk for the base.
ausfire
Nice work, Smoke. I like the way you get the tempering colours on the fish's body. I use plough disks for bases too; their concave base makes for extra good stability. Old satellite TV dishes work well for big things as well. And I do like that cast frog. Frosty
That is just soooo wicked cool. How many customers do you have back ordered? If you can't sell these you must be throwing rocks at people! Frosty The Lucky.

Smokeman
Hey Frosty, I am selling them as fast as I can make them. Actually one buyer wants me to make her an Alice in wonderland garden. Large rabbits, caterpillars and mushrooms. She left out the lions, tigers and bears.....oh my !

windancer
Again another nice piece of art! Are you inflating them after welding or doing precision fit up? Waiting for a big fat rainbow after a Royal Coachman dry fly on a short piece of fly line. Dave
Smokeman
@windancer, I form both sides of the fish separate and then weld and hammer as I go. 18ga sheet metal

Camero68
Wonderful art sculpture! Great shape on the fish, you captured the movement and flow of its body and tail. Like the sea weeds as well. Great job!
Frosty
Hey Frosty, I am selling them as fast as I can make them. Actually one buyer wants me to make her an Alice in wonderland garden. Large rabbits, caterpillars and mushrooms. She left out the lions, tigers and bears.....oh my ! I can't wait to see the Jabberwok, jub jub bird and the frumious bandersnatch. A vorpal blade wind chime that goes snicker snack. You're wrong in Toto, you can't make lions, tigers and bears for her unless she wants a yellow brick road. So, ignore the man behind the curtain!
