Jim Coke
Greetings Rhett, Looks great for your first... I prefer to road test mine on wood not my hand.... windancer
Look servicable to me! Now all you need is someone else to swing it :) Dave
Aden Cassidy
Looks good, been thinking of making my own axe for a while now. The only thing is here in Australia we need to make them a bit heavier than most places else they wont bite too well, we have LOTS of dense wood species all around the place. Matthew Paul
Nice work Rhett. It looks great, even more so being your first. Is that a welded bit or solid piece?
Rhettbarnhart
Thanks for the compliments guys,556 it is a solid body from an axle....probly not enough carbon for the job but it is what I had.....btw does 556mp stand for the smith and Wesson ar15? Matthew Paul
Very cool. Use it up and see how it works! 556mp came from me being into ARs years ago, and MP is my initials. I'd change my forum name to Matthew Paul if I knew how. Done, your log in remains the same
VaughnT
Very nice axe. You got good clean lines and an excellent finish, now you need to get a handle on it and make like a pioneer!
