jmhlsy
I am in process of first forge build. Only part I can not source is the Ward 1-1/4 x 3/4 x 1-1/4 reducing tee. I checked with local industrial pipe supply and plumbing supply house, neither had or could get. Where is this part available? I have seen a few online but none look very smooth in transition like the ones on Zoller. Thanks
jeremy k
Very simple - Contact Zoeller about them.
jmhlsy
Thanks, might have to do that but was trying to source locally. Of course that's not looking good.
Steve Sells
not all places have imperial measurements either. so depending on where local is too you, you may not be able to get it, where are you?>

Steve Sells
iirc, 3/4 is for the burner tube, if you cant get 1.25 , then try 1.5 for the tee.... look at a local big box store
DSW
It took me 2 or 3 tries before I found them at a local plumbing supply. My normal supplier of plumbing parts had them listed in the system, but only had the cheap import ones in stock. We ordered one of the Ward ones and when it came in, the main warehouse had shipped out one of the imports instead. We ordered a 2nd one from another store, only to end up with the same result. The next place I tried also just stocked the standard import ones. I then tried another local supplier who wasn't as convenient and they had them in stock. Frosty
I use 3/4"x1"x1" in mine and they'll melt the fire brick in the floor if I leave them turned up too long. Frosty The Lucky.
WayneCoeArtistBlacksmith
Ward fittings are primarily used in the fire sprinkler industry. www.hightemptools.com sell them. Tell Wayne that Wayne Coe sent you.

jmhlsy
No response from zoeller yet. I think I will just go with a "Y" I can get than at the box store. Are there any performance differences? Also, how far is the mig tip suppose to stick down in the fitting?
WayneCoeArtistBlacksmith
It needs to be the Ward Y.
