Steven Fabrizio Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 I have these two hunks of metal 18 x 7.5 x 2. They were tool decks (don’t know what else to call them) in a machine shop. They were given to me I have lots of ideas but maybe your idea is better! Just checking! The only anvil I have right now is a harbor freight one so that is where I may start with one of them. Glenn Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 Looks like a swedge block to me (grin). Use the flat spaces as an anvil. Other than a Brazeal style swage tool anvil, some nice jeweler's or bench style anvils could be made like this one (found on the net).
