April 13, 200917 yr Haven't had much time for knives in the last few months, but this one was promised a while back. The Fire Department, in a town near by, puts on a BBQ cook off every year and I am donating this chopper as a prise. It's forged from 1095 and has a curly maple handle. The blade is 10" long and 2 1/4" wide. The OAL is 15". The design is a cross between a slicer and a cleaver. Thanks for looking.
April 14, 200917 yr Nice chopper. I like the pattern of the hamon. Is the board it's on go with it too? I'd buy a ticket for sure. Frosty
April 14, 200917 yr very nice - you'd better make sure no one you know wins - it will looked rigged. That should draw some attention. kevin
April 14, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the nice words guys. I talked to a lot of BBQ chefs, both in business and competition cooking, to find what they wanted.
