  3. i dont know what the wood is called for sure but i think it is multi-colored laminated wood. in my opinion that would make a nice looking handle for this knife.

  6. Yea, the handle just looks small because i am 6' 6" and have huge hands. It fits my dads hand well, and that is all that matters because this knife is for him.

  8. This is my first finished knife, still working on it. All i have left is to put the brass rivets in , and do the finish sanding. comments and advice are welcome.

  16. i love making skinners. i hunt and personally there really isnt a "set" length, its whatever you feel comfortable and are used to. i like it a lot. keep up the good work.

  18. Thanks all. It is a bit short, but you just have to put your pinky around the back, and it is actually kinda comfortable. I will deffidently post finished pics of it. thanks again.

  21. This is a new skinner that i have been working on for a while now. I spent 3 hours filing it today. I have quenched it in motor oil, and hardened it. I will be putting scales on it soon. Comments and criticism are welcome. Thanks. overall length- 7 in. blade length- 3 1/2 in. handle length- 3 1/2 in. widest part- 1 3/4 in. thickness- 3/16 in.
