    Here is my first RR spike knife.Not quite finished,needs polished and a sheath made.I think spikes are good practice for making knives.Thats probably why u see so many of them.Hope pics turned out.

    Especially if the K NN is on the side facing us in the photo.Great find..One of Americas best made anvils.Should be serial #'s on front left side of foot indicating the year it was made.

    I have an anvil much like urs but under the base it is concave,it weighs #175 on a bathroom scale.All the research i have done leads me to believe that it is a Hay Budden.Can't see many markings on mine either.HB's also have thin wastes. HB's are from Brooklyn N.Y....:cool:

    was an off the wall guess to get the ball rolling,never made a sword before..much less seen a (sword making anvil!)...

    got a pic of anvils?Sounds like railroad track anvil to me.Something that long likely used for sword making but coming from a farm it's hard to say.
