  1. I'm looking into a SodaStream actually. I drink a lot of water. Until then I checked out craft sodas at the store today and was amazed a bit by the variety. One caught my eye though (probably not a "craft" soda since it uses a 1939 formula) and I couldn't resist.... Give my opener a workout with that 4 pack.....
  2. That is a cool opener, it looks truly well aged and ancient. It has a "ghostly" look about it to me, maybe a bit of the spirit of the Viking that owned it in there..... 8-) I'll take some mustard foam please....
  3. Shaina, I'm looking into this... I usually drink water or Pepsi so I did a little research on artisanal soda and there's a lot of interesting flavors and combinations of flavors so I'm going to give them a try. I'll see tomorrow if I can find some local. I ran across Bazooka Bubble Gum flavored soda on the internet, but I think I'll pass on that one.
  4. Shainarue, that is an awesome opener. I like how you colored/finished it. Very unique looking. I bet your nephew will love it.
  5. I might be way ahead of you. I might post something tomorrow that will lay the groundwork for your total destruction on April 1st 2024.
  6. I'm sorry for your loss Aric. It is a hard thing to go through. I believe as Randy does and I could not have spoken better. My Grandma always said, "This too shall pass", meaning the heartache. She was always right. It leaves fond memories.
  7. No worries, I have eyes in the back of my head..... I might just get you.... Let's call it a challenge. I bet you forget!
  8. I have a friend back home living with heavy metal poisoning everyday. It wasn't galvynizing, even so, it does not matter. You are right, Steve. It is too late then. It can't be fixed with a pill.
  9. Does your car go fast? Maybe it needs roll bars. I'd still go.
  10. Sounds like a stroke of genious Plan B to me.... I wasn't trying to get you to let the cat out of the bag or anything..... Why are we having a Viking bottle opener contest then anyway?
  11. Ciao, buonasera and welcome to IFI from North Carolina.
  12. It's great when a trade works out so well. Billy, check for hidden scorpions, they blend in I hear. Black Widows are easy to spot on an anvil, or so I'm told. And you can just smashem....
  13. I love it! Dirt roads too. I'd pay to ride NZ dirt roads with you in that machine.
  14. Yeah, you missed a good opportunity there. You never know when somebody is pulling your leg on April 1st, huh? A few attempts were made at me yesterday. It reminds me of a MASH episode where they had a day long practical joke contest and everybody got all weird and paranoid of everybody else pulling one off on them. Oh well, there's always next year...
  15. Well, I thought I offended you. I should know better. My own funny bone is not running on all cylinders tonight. Every time I see that sign off now, I think of the song Southern Cross. One of my favorites because I've seen it and slept under it. Too bad about my humor being out of joint or I would have played a great April Fools Joke on you all. A great one.... -sigh-
  16. Mayby I should have used some capital letters and bold type to make my points, similarly. Kind of like shouting.
  17. Welcome back. I got your video to play for 4 seconds but I'm beat as to what it is. With that kind of computer, it should be duck soup.
  18. It's a good thing I edited it before you saw my reply because I recommended a swivel caster. I better start using smiley emojis more often. I was joking. Probably in bad taste. No offence to your friend. I had a cousin in the Bandito's at one time but we don't talk about much about it. It didn't last long. And yes, I would rather stay clear of bad spots, too. Pretty good place to end Philisophical "Razors" thread, I'm thinking.
  19. I think the photo they sent says it all. Perfect. I love it and like I said, I'm going go build an exact replica to fit my space if M3F dont mind.
  20. Strictly speaking, none of that stuff is essential. Essentialy speaking, it may be, depending on circumstances....
  21. I changed my my attitude. I'd never dream of riling you or Deb, be assured I'd be on my best behavior around her, but might be tempted to raz you a bit....
  22. I would turn the light on first so I can see clearly all the other stuff.
  23. After the essentials: If down the road you can teach yourself to re-sharpen them, you will have free drill bits for life. Also, burrs, stones, sanding drums, wire wheels etc... can be found for next to nothing at the flea markets I go to. Center punches, countersinks, on and on. People get big ideas and then a lot of it winds up cast off at garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores. You can do a lot with a drill press. Nice aquirement..... I quote my best friend: "Free is for me!"
