  1. Alan As you noticed there are a lot of blacksmithing tools back east. Im from Virginia and have seen approx 7 or 8 of that same type blower in my travels Mike
  2. Glenn I have a hard time building anything light weight / sturdy is no problem. I have several variations of anvil stands ( no stumps ) I havent built an adjustable stand yet though ( I think the range of adjustment would be to great ) Im 6' 6" so I require a rather tall stand to begin with. Can I use some photos from the gallery or do they need to be new photos ? Mike
  3. Never use a grinding wheel for a pedestal grinder that has been dropped or banged real hard unless you " ring " it first . It can and will explode when it reaches its top rpm. A grinding wheel has a definite ring to it when when tapped if it is sound , if not there is a dull thud if its is not sound (cracked )
  4. As a general rule of thumb I take a persons resume and divide it by 2 thats more like the reality of what they can really do.
