  1. Yes they are. Not doing much right now, so a wall piece it will be.
  2. Now I'm going to try my hand at plasma cutting my last name into this old buzz saw blade. We will see how it goes. It doesn't look like there's a big demand for these old death machines so why not salvage the blade.
  3. I found these in a old Victorian house garage, sitting on top of a old belt driven buzz saw. What xxx xxxx are they?
  4. Ok it's 9" from end to end and 2-1/2" wide. Put it on the bath scale and it read 9.8 lbs
  5. Did a lot of looking and can't find any like it. If you have any idea let me know. It has a 5 on the one side and a recessed like dimple on the other. Thanks.
  6. Yes now that I had some time to research it, it is indeed missing some important parts. I dont think I will find them either. Well its probably to heavy to ship so I dont think Ill put it on Ebay. Not sure if id get any bites on craigslist. There not all to hard to find around here. Pole vises that is. It would be nice to find a chain vise around here though. Not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions???
  7. Says Trenton on the side and one of the jaws is broke and missing the broken piece. I cant even find a image of one on the net. I paid close to nothing for it and would like to flip it. Thanks and have a great day. Bill
  8. Added photo's. Its the bottom anvil. Wonder if its a china one?????
  9. Key is marked on the side of this 50 lb anvil . Sorry no pic. This is what the guy told me
  10. Yea he's looking for 175.00 but first said 75.00 that's what got me intrested. Don't think I will go 175.00
  11. This guy sent me these pics with no other info. Thought someone would ID it with the embossed "100" on the back foot. If you know what it is let me know. Thanks. looking to purchase it.
  12. Picked up this 208 Trenton. Has a stamping below the trenton. just wondering if you experts know what it means.
  13. Post a wanted add on Craigslist and post it in cities other than yours. You wont believe how many are still out there and people think no body wants them. Here in Pa. I bought three in the last week. You dont want to know what I paid, you'll cry. Also go on auctionzip.com and put your zip and keyword "anvil" and it will show all the auctions in your area with anvils. Good luck. Now Im on the hunt for a small forge :)
  14. Got this the other day after I just purchased one. Could'nt pass it up .50 a lb think its about 200lbs the only mark I see is a "8" on the side of the anvil nothing else is visable. I only wanted one but I guess I'm a collector now. Im purchasing the Anvils in America but havent got it yet. If you have any ideas what it is let me know. Oh yea the guy said it was his grandfathers who brought it over from Europe, I think England, when he first came to this country. Pretty heavy to bring over if you ask me?
  15. Here are some pics not pretty but it will work for me. I would have spent that much at harbor freight if they had a 100lb'r why not get a classic. Can I just mig/grind those craters on the edges???
  16. Ok they lied about the max photo size I had to shrink them even more. The only id I see is aletter "P" on the back edge of the anvil. And I do see a couple old colors of paint on the side. If theres a place i should be looking, let me know I'll look harder. So to all you experts, is this a Soderfors???
  17. What the heck it wont let me upload pics???? the pics are only up to 2.0 mb is it beacause im a newby??? keeps saying "error 500"
  18. Hey that's not nice. It was too dark to take pics last night. I'll get them up soon.
