billymons
Did a lot of looking and can't find any like it. If you have any idea let me know. It has a 5 on the one side and a recessed like dimple on the other. Thanks.
njanvilman
It is definately a cast anvil. Does it have rebound? Does it have a steel top, or it the whole anvil steel? Size? Weight? All of these questions will help identify it.

John McPherson
Here is a similar shape 22 kilo French model marked Chambon (owners name or brand?) from 1913 used as a jewelers bench anvil. Yours seems a bit less crisp and defined, but without the edge chipping. How big is yours? It helps to put something in the pic for scale, like a pen or soda can. Could the 5 be weight in kilos? billymons
Ok it's 9" from end to end and 2-1/2" wide. Put it on the bath scale and it read 9.8 lbs
101 H-B
Italian cast steel ca. 1950-60, seen now and then, seem to have made a fair number of them.
