Picked up this 208 Trenton. Has a stamping below the trenton. just wondering if you experts know what it means.

    It looks like it might say 'Solid Wrought'. It is probably one of the earlier Trentons that were made in Europe before CFI started making them in Columbus, Ohio.

    A lot of anvils say that so it kind of follows to reason. I'd do a soapstone/chalk rub on it to see if any other letters show up. But, I'm pretty sure......
