  4. Sparky is in & out but stays in most of the time.
  5. Thought this might be a neat thread topic. Do you have a shop pet(s)? If so where does it hang out in your shop? I have a shop dog, named SPARKY!!! He use to always lay next to the treadle hammer in old shop now he lays across from my anvil. Chris

Also was watching a video with a fellow ( cant remeber his name) that was at big blu shop and he demoed making one of those coal forge metal holders out of a picece of plate and I was wondering about what measurements to start with.

  12. hey looper567, I`am looking in to buying your 2 burner Blacksmith model gasser. I was wondering if these came with the choke plates? Also you are on ebay also under the same name right?

  13. It would be a good idea , BUT I have decied to sell it and buy a factory made gas forge. Its for sale in tailgating if any one is interested . Chris

  15. Hey Y`all, I searched for a thread about adding a 2nd burner to a gas forge and didnt find nuttin, if you know of one please post the link. Ok my question is can you add a 2nd burner to a gas forge that is already done with 1" of inswol, and 1" of castable Refactory? I have a 20lb propane bottle as my shell , with a fire brick in side the forge it gets hot but slower than I`am pleased with and only gets a meduim sized area hot. I have a modifed side arm burner in it and use anout 10lbs of pressure . It`ll get under 3/4" Hot pretty fast , but am wanting one to get 1.5"sq hot . If any is interested check it out in the tailgating. Chris
  16. Thanks Frosty, No it didnt come standard , but I marked to 12 inces will mark rest later LOL. I find that REALLY handy . Chris
  17. Mike, have checked with the Groundskeepers and they say its alright. Chris
  18. Hey y'all, Recently my Great Grandpa passed away. I wanted to do something special for his grave because he always liked for me to show him what I was making at the time. So I decied I would forge a shepards hook out of 1/2" sq. The Hook is bent on the dimond. It has a few reverse twists in it. The end that goes in to the ground has 2 pieces of angle iron on opposite sides to keep the wind from blowing it over. Chris
  19. Here is a picture of my new 286lb. Euroanvil.
