I have just starting making these roses. the first 3 are 1/4 stock the last one in 3/8 stock. I have a ways to go in getting the initial roll tighter.

Clean shop or not.
My shop is 1/2 a two car Garage.... My shop is is neat enough to be useful. It does need a good sweeping but I know where all my tools are. I need to organize my stock. I am trying to convince my wife to let me take over the rest of the garage

I have been asked to make a blow pipe with a hook near the end to be able to adjust logs in a campfire. He gave me some 1/2" square tubing to make it. any suggestion for how to make the mouthpiece for this?

Rust pevention for heated items
What would you use as a rust inhibitoron grill sets and other item exposed to heat tripods, campgrills, and the like? I use a beeswax and linseed oil mix for my creations this far but wont that melt right off?

what is a fuller user for. i used the small one and it worked great finishing up a taper.

the small one was $1 an i a nice finishing hammer. the other was $2 and i picked it up because i have not seen one before. the antique dealer thought it was is for sheet metal. it seemed rather heavy for sheet metal. and the back looks like it had been hammered on.

nice looking shop. how much did it cost? I was planing on wood walls to keep the heat down. Summer in South Louisiana is HOT.
