Rob Browne Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Today Connor, my son, tried a forge weld and got it! A lap weld on the ends of a horse shoe which is a great start for a kid not quite 12 years old. Very pleased with him and he is really chuffed :D:D:D Quote
Finnr Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job Connor. Finnr Quote
NOS Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 WOW! He did a Great job! What a great accomplishment at such a young age. A real "chip off the old block" I'm trying to get my 12 year old to try forging some, but she's more into video games right now It's always a great thing to get our kids involved in various activities that we enjoy. It makes for great bonding time. keep up the good work guys! Quote

Frosty Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 That's terrific Rob. Just think how proud we'll all be the next time someone asks how to forge weld and we refer them to Connor. Makes my day. Frosty Quote
