Indish Ironworks
Hey all, hobbyist smith living outside Lansing, MI. I starting out with a six week course at our local Maker Space about six years ago and have been fiddling around in my garage ever since. I generally just make household stuff (hooks, bottle openers, etc.), and the occasional tooling I need. I tend to pick up and drop forging on and off as my life gets busy, but lately I've been trying to get a little more serious about it and try to not suck so much. Looking forward to learning from this community.

Indish Ironworks
Hah, thanks all. I'll have to do a better job of taking photos, but here's a few of the things I did for Christmas: a hairpin and ring dish for my sister-in-law, and some bottle openers for some buddies. As you can see, I have a lot to learn.

Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
It all looks good to me. Stamping your friends initials on the bottle openers is a good move. At least I think they are their initials. Never thought of doing that.
Indish Ironworks
The initials were my wife's idea. She made me re-do the batch of gifts since the previous version had a hammered finish that wouldn't show the initials well. Much appreciated on the feedback!
