July 3, 20223 yr Many if not most kids go through a Dinosaur phase; try to use it to encourage a love of science! (Few go on to be Paleontologists; luckily...)
July 3, 20223 yr Author Lol yeah that’s a good point Thomas, there’s probably more money in learning how to design an build animatronic Dino’s then digging up real ones!
July 3, 20223 yr I mentioned it in the spirit of the conversation. Artist or art is probably not a good choice either. I saw Max at the easel!
July 3, 20223 yr Author Lol it’s okay Scott, he can be a paleontologist if he wants to, or an artist or a robot builder or whatever else he wants to be! I don’t care as long as he’s happy healthy and makes enough money to take care of me an ash when we get old lol
July 3, 20223 yr That's the spirit! If he tends toward robotics, let me know, I have boxes and boxes of electronic whizbangs from my run in with it. It might be antiquated by then, but who doesn't love collecting the old stuff. Look at us......
July 3, 20223 yr My late wife, Martha, never grew out of her dinosaur phase and grew up to be a geologist and paleontologist. After she passed I found her old plastic dinosaurs she had as a child and passed the on to some friends tht had small children. GNM
July 3, 20223 yr I never grew out of dinosaurs or earlier critters, plants, heck paleontology I just never tried making a living at it. Good saying Scott, looking down helps you avoid trip hazards too. It's a win win. Frosty The Lucky.
July 4, 20223 yr TW; I'll ask our kids to send him a few pamphlets from "Fast Turn Around Acres" the old folks home that doesn't drain the inheritance---for long!
