ThomasPowers
Fire with a water chaser. I'm in an area where flash floods are the norm; so much so that they put up signs on the local roads: "Turn around, Don't Drown". All y'all stay safe no matter what the environment tries to do to you!

Chris C
Based on the comparison of this picture and the last you posted of this boat, you did INDEED get some rain. Thank goodness. I'm glad to hear the fires are out. Are they ALL out or just the majority?
ThomasPowers
Back before they "tamed" the Arkansas river; floods would sometimes result in large catfish, paddlefish and gar getting "stuck" in oxbow lakes and deep holes making for some interesting fishing as water levels go down. (My Grandfather ran a Baitshop in Fort Smith AR and some of the fishing tales I heard around the vats were prime tall tales---until they took you out to the pickup and the "tail" was hanging off the back of the tailgate!) Do you get anything interesting washed into your area?
