March 27, 20197 yr Hello Tristin and welcome to IFI. I also would be curious whether your knife was forged or stock removal. Nothing wrong with either one, just wondering as I have never made one by stock removal.
April 8, 20197 yr Author Sorry for the late response forgot to turn notifications on, the blade was forged. I don't really like the idea of stock removal (No offense to those who do) personally because to me it feels kinda lazy, as well I like the idea of when Forging you're giving life and spirit and essence to the steel.
April 8, 20197 yr Just remember that in forging the metal you can also degrade and damage it as well. Forging doesn't automatically makes things better!
