A friend on the other coast asked for help with info on his old anvil-

He says:

Has 103 in big numbers..weight? Then has M __ US.   HOLE . I know it is early 1800s at least. 

What can we tell him?

Mouse Hole anvil. 115Lbs. 112+0+3=115. Although the numbers look odd being so big.

Mousehole Forge (AKA The Undisputed King of Anvils) started putting pritchel holes in their anvils about 1830.

Of course, that weight is going to be a bit off, since the horn ain't there no more.
