andrew faulds
Hi, I have a racing motor cycle that I am building, the frame is a Seeley frame, the braising is a master piece to be seen, and I would like it clear coated to show the bike, what is the best way to go about this, all so, I will have the expansion chambers made up to suit the frame, i would like it braised, instead of welded, can you clear coat an exhaust, to stop it rusting, or will the heat spoil the coating. regards Andrew
Frosty
No pics? New guys, Tsk tsk tsk. Welcome aboard Andrew, glad to have you. If you'll put your general location in the header you might be surprised how many members live within visiting distance. Frosty The Lucky. ThomasPowers
Suggest brazing it rather than braising it. Exhaust will get way too hot for any clear coat I know of. You should discuss it with the clearcoater.
