We exchanged emails a few days ago and he's doing pretty well but it was obviously a serious stroke. Kathy tells me his docs are amazed he's coming along as well as he is. I hope she's not being more optimistic than realistic. This isn't his first.

I really need to keep after him more than I do or he doesn't reply.
