caintuckrifle Posted February 29, 2016 Share Posted February 29, 2016 I am certainly well aware that railroad in the horizontal position makes a less than satisfactory anvil, I'd much rather work on my Peter Wrights. That being said, I decided that it would be a fun project. I think it will be useful for some of my other metal hobbies. Machined, forged, hardened and tempered just like the real deal.
