Anthony San Miguel Posted September 25, 2015 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Can anyone tell me what kind of hammer this is and why it has a hole? It looks like something for rock but I don't know. I just had a friend gift me with one as he grabbed one just a step ahead of me at a fleamarket about 20 years ago and then welded his initials on it. I looked up linesman's hammer and sure enough, there were some that looked like this one. I can read Bell System faintly stamped into this one. After dressing the peen I'm going to try it as a straight peen first and see if I like it. If not, I'm going to use it as a handled fullering tool.
