Here's a trio of some blacksmiths knives in 1084 with a little copper accenting them, just wanted to keep it simple. These are heading up to Erie for show there next weekend, wish I could make it but I'm needed in the opposite end of the state those days.

I like them very much.

I like the idea of using the copper wire.  I'd like to see it done with copper collars too.

Simple, but very graceful.  I especially like the flow of lines on the top one.

That copper wire could easily double the value of those to a random person. It went from bent metal to "art"

Could you please post a close up of how you have secured the wire wrap J.W.S. I would like to have a go at borrowing your idea if I may?

You don't have to secure it . . . you just wrap it around. The copper is strong enough that it'll stay on it's own.

Essentially just wrapped them and used a small ball peen and a pin punch to bring the ends in tight against the handles.
