There are at least five lying there. That is, if you are talking about the things that look kind of like open end wrenches with the top prong almost as long as the handle.

Yes that is what I am talking about. how did you highlight them? that is pretty handy.

At first look I was thinking some kind of bending or scrolling tool. Say something to bend vine branches over the main stalk without bending the stalk. They wouldn't work so well for that though, the long springy section doesn't make sense.

Right now I'm thinking of some kind of a slip on control lever say to lift a lid a few inches.

I need to hook my comp up to the TV now too.

GIMP. Used the freehand selection tool to outline each one individually and then colorized it. Then repeated for each one using a different color. Haven't managed to talk the wife out of the big screen yet... it's what shee uses for a monitor.
