Also a link for a bit more in depth look at the construction. Thanks, Michael http://dillonforge.com/component/easyblog/entry/public-sculpture-ascension?Itemid=435

April 26, 201412 yr Outstanding Mr. Dillon. I finally found your Nashville sculpture at Macabe park. It takes on another feel when you see the scale in person.

April 30, 201412 yr Thanks for the compliments! You all are making me feel old with the Mr Dillon though... Next sculpture up- big forge for some 6" billet, cant wait! Don't you just hate it when the kids make you feel old Granpa Mike? Tell me again how you sent letters before they invented paper!! Frosty The Lucky.
May 17, 201412 yr The bar has been raised 100 fold!!! A true exercise in surface textures relating to the scale of the piece, and once again graceful lines from every angle. You've made tons of metal look light as a feather!
June 24, 201411 yr Beautiful!! Reminds me of a sculpture near the local airport (Epply Field) here in Omaha :)
June 26, 201411 yr Author Thanks Dodge, cool piece looks fabricated not poured. I'm working my way up to 15 ton of bronze!
