rhitee93 Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Those rotary dumpers are crazy to watch. They use them at the local power plant which consumes 100 cars worth of coal a day. The cars for rotary dumpers have a special coupling marked by a stripe at one end of the car. (Or so I have been told) Every now and then I'll see a train where two cars have the striped ends together, adn it makes me wonder what the operators of the dumper do when that happens.
