Steve Sells
what are the hammer or burn marks on the face? if you removed them it would get more money for it, and look a lot better
switchjv
what are the hammer or burn marks on the face? if you removed them it would get more money for it, and look a lot better They are exactly what they look like. I peened the spine and accentuated the divets with a vinegar etching. It was done deliberately to give the knife more character. its what i envisioned in its final appearance. I know some might not like the look, but i like it.
plane_crazzy
That is becoming popular to intentionally divot the spine of blades so that they have more character and look like they are made from old rusted and pitted metal.
edge9001
I am not a fan of the intentionally divoted spines on knives, however. I am a fan your work. You did an exceptional job on this one.
