November 10, 201114 yr Latest project finally installed with the client. The small motif was taken from a detail the client found on their fire place in the dining room. They wanted something simple and not too cluttered. We also installed a 5 metre balcony rail of the same design. will try to upload pics later.
November 10, 201114 yr The small motif was taken from a detail the client found on their fire place in the dining room. The tails of the flowers are riveted to the upright bar? Is it a rivet that goes through the lot? I cannot see very well. When you post other pics, a close up of the joinery would be appreciated. Very nice work sir. Yves
November 10, 201114 yr You pulled it off with style.....Simple and understated, that old style hinge will never become obsolete......
November 10, 201114 yr Author Many thanks for the comment guys. Yves the bars are punched and there is a long thread bar running through the punch holes with balls screwed at either end. Will try and get some close up images for you.

May 18, 201214 yr Very nice, I like the simplicity and boldness of the design, the size and clean detail of the elements accentuates it's openness. This is the kind of work an owner would have the contractor make the house match. Frosty The Lucky.
July 24, 201213 yr I, too would like to see close-up photos of the joinery, hinges, latch, etc.Beautiful work.
July 24, 201213 yr I recently re-watched the movie Mystery Men and was struck by how Art Nouveau the gates and railings in the bad guys lair were.
