Ian
I made this as a one off for a favourite client. It's loosely based on a salmon. Made using 2 inch angle iron, carved and forged. With the addition of pipe bells that hang between the ribs it becomes a wind chime. Measures about 18 inches long. Comments welcome as always
Still Learnin'
Nice job Ian. I like the look and totally appreciate the concept !
Marksnagel
Ian that is neat. I lived in Alaska for three years and after the salmon spawned they died on the river banks. When I saw your fish that is exactly what I thought of. Salmon carcasses littering the river banks being eaten by Bald Eagles. Memories! Thanks for posting. Adam2519
Ian Fantastic looking fish! Do you think you could knock up a steel hook with a little worm sitting on it to hang out in front of it? Adam

ThomasPowers
I may have to make a red-necked version of that using differing sized horseshoes for the ribs...
CurlyGeorge
Thomas, when you said red neck version, I had visions of a big ole carp!!

ThomasPowers
Only thing we do with carp is leave then somebody else's truck tool box when we are not happy with them. Now cat is another kettle of fish! I remember taking some friends from England to the local VFD's catfish fry when they were stopping through a little town in AR. They were a bit in culture shock; but had a good time.
