Steve Sells
It is with tears in my eyes that I post: my friend and former bladesmithing teacher William W Wyant has passed away from a heart attack Wednesday night. Founder and operator of Avalon Iron works for many years, is most likely at this moment trying to get in a bid to refurbish the pearly gates with new iron work. I will miss him, and the smithing world has lost a great smith. I would like all to let anvils ring for Bill at noon this Sunday May 16. Rest well my Brother, My anvil will continue to ring because of you and your time to train me.
