February 1, 201016 yr Yup, I play at general smithing, and am quite serious about blade work! Based up in Manchester, there seems to be quite a few folks from the UK on here, Rollcall!!!!! :D
February 1, 201016 yr Me too, and Quite a few of our Guild members are also members of the site, and some are visitors but not yet registered, I also mention it to students that come on our courses, and a couple of our members who are tutors for blacksmithing courses at colleges also give out information and recommend this site.

February 2, 201016 yr Auss is still part of the British Commonwealth I believe unless they've made it a republic and said nothing. That'll do for me, although I think the original concept was to establish who was actually in the UK Blacksmithing's a universal thing and its a bit like a great family
February 3, 201016 yr I'm up in Yorkshire, Bradford specifically. I've been smithing on and off for about 5 years. Recently i've started to move more towards recreating certain items, mostly medieval or thereabouts.
