Greg C.
Thats better than my first. It wasn't even a folder, I hid it from public view. It's a very good start. Keep at it!
wolfshieldrx
I have a very similar blade ready to make a handle for. I might have to steal...er...borrow, yeah thats it, BORROW your design. How's it feel in the hand? Great job! ps...i have a weak spot (no...not my head!) for friction folders. bart
Walowan
It is a bit small but then that is what I was after. This knife is meant to be hung on a laynard around your neck, after using it just drop it and it will close. The design of the handle is form follows function. cardoso5fr
Nice, but it's maybe not a good idea to carry a friction folder as neck knife in other way than in a sheath.
Quenchcrack
Walowan, I like it. Nice design and fine execution. Yup, gotta make one of those.

edge9001
Nice, but it's maybe not a good idea to carry a friction folder as neck knife in other way than in a sheath. Back in my boyscout days a few of our scoutmasters carries similar neck knives, and the easiest way we found to make them safe for daily wear was to put a sheath around the closed knife. something you could easily pull off when the knife is needed. BIGGUNDOCTOR
Another option would be to get one of those rare Earth magnets, and inset it into the side of the grip. When the blade is closed it would hold it shut. I picked up a telescopic pickup tool at a gun show for a buck, that one had an 8# capacity magnet, and yes it will pick up an 8# sledge hammer head.
