  1. thanks I hope to hear from you soon sorry for the inconvenience thanks for your availability greetings and good life to all.
  2. thanks for the comparison, so you believe that temporary carpenter construction props are sufficient, which at the time of the restoration will be disassembled to restore the beam thanks sorry for the inconvenience, thanks.
  3. you advise me to have some metal plates made by an engineering workshop and place them between the beam and the pole, I would like to put a U-shaped bracket under the fracture of the concrete beam, like a channel, a gutter straddling the 2 pieces of beam and right under a pole, or do you think the props you call ??jack posts are sufficient? thanks susate the trouble.
  4. it is an infill operation given that the beam is in reinforced concrete and has a slender section I put a temporary support on it a provisional temporary prop, to unload the weight of the floor to the ground, when the construction company intervenes it will adopt the right interventions, but momentarily I would like to shore up the beam for safety, thanks, sorry if I have intruded on you.
  5. below there would be a room but I have checked there are no cracks or visible lesions, on the ground under the iron props to distribute the load and balance the forces I have placed a wooden beam above the wooden planks I would like to place a sturdy lally columnb under the crack a 1.30 meters with a U-shaped saddle at least 1 meter long to be placed across the crack to release tension and stress, 34 centimeters is the width of the damaged beam, 28 centimeters thick, too thin in my opinion, Damaged beam? Attic? they are the beam that I have to fix and secure the attic would be the concrete structure that supports the damaged beam, do you think that the metal props alone are sufficient to make the structure stable or do I have to put stronger lally coulombs in the corners of the beam I had thought of putting some iron angles on it and welding them like a ladder to make the structure more solid, do you think they are necessary or superfluous? the http://www.ordinearchitettiagrigento.it/wp-content/uploads/rinforzo-strutturale_large.jpg https://www.studioschvarcz.it/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Interventi-di-ripristino.pdf
  6. there are no support foundations but underneath there would be another ground floor, but I checked the beam is sound, I just have to put a sleeping prop to make the beam rest and unload at the point where it is fractured, but above there are no loads, only the load of the structure of the attic, thanks for your intervention greetings. 2.90 meters high from the floor
  7. thank you, I hope you are all well and that everything is going well, going back to my question, it is an old house I needed a metal prop to support the beam like a sleeper and unload the weight of the attic and the structure on the ground to distribute the weight in a second moment I will call a company specialized in restoration and rehabilitation, at the moment I want to create temporary temporary props which I will dismantle during the restoration phase, but I have to understand how to make it and what material to use, the columns will remain empty but the upright will have to support the weight in the middle ? how should I do what material do I use, what tricks to use, thanks for everything and sorry for the inconvenience. good life to everyone.
  8. hi, sorry for the inconvenience, I should make a lally columns to reinforce a long and slender reinforced concrete beam, 4.90 meters long, 50x50 cm section, 2.90 meters high from the floor, some construction and installation advice, thanks, which material do I use, tubular or boxed what section and thickness? how would you do it? I state that it must not support the load but only the load of the attic which is unloaded thanks.
  9. https://turismo.reggiocal.it/area-metropolitana/locride/stilo stilo calabria, monasterace I live in a suggestive place called stilo is a medieval village where time has stopped but it is out of this world in the summer you go to monasterace marina which has a brazil-like promenade, enchanting places but with few comforts time has stopped , but the food is good and the people are welcoming and warm.
  10. I have to find an anatomy book maybe I do it in material like characters of pirates of the Caribbean, but I have to study it and do it in proportions otherwise it does not come a statue but a pile of debris, it must have elegance, harmony and convey a message it must have the appearance of a warrior also stylized otherwise it becomes a wreck am I wrong? '
  11. I would like to make a warrior with a shield that protects the body in such a way that I save a lot of work and details I have to go to scrap yards but first I have to draw a sketch with four measures otherwise I risk using and recycling useless and unsuitable material thanks.
  12. thanks for the precious suggestions, of course I do not have the presumption of making the armor of a medieval crusader warrior but a stylized material structure that gives the impression of a cross between a warrior and a robot, perhaps with car shock absorbers, gears connecting rods or similar or similar scraps, I think it is necessary to start from a drawing a sketch with measurements, maybe if you would be so kind as to attach the links of the most appropriate discussions, thanks again for your collaboration sorry for the trouble greetings. https://www.vol.at/imposante-skulpturen-aus-schrott/3243386http://lauringartner.weebly.com/uploads/1/0/8/8/10881719/6164209_orig.jpg?1354737135
  13. Help build a metal warrior statue with scrap metals recycled from the junkyard.: hi excuse me if I disturb I would like to create a warrior at natural height by recycling metal pieces from workshop scraps or metal objects recovered from scrap shops or body builders some simple and cheap idea thanks greetings excuse me for the bizarre and bizarre question greetings warrior metal art sculpture https://www.mari9art.com/samurai-2nd-metal-sculpture
  14. thank you for your kind availability and your valuable advice, I have space problems so I have to work out, sorry if I'm not an active user, but you understand well where I come from are delicate moments, thanks again greetings to all.
  15. hi sorry if I disturb, in my shelter laboratory I have my workbench welding station, I would like to create a study office corner, a corner where to put a sturdy table a desk to have fun reading the newspaper, consulting books designing sketching, supporting the computer, or a workstation versatile multi-purpose to my personal needs. therefore I thought of creating a personalized desk table, the measures would be: 70 cm wide, 80 cm high h, 120 cm long, you will tell me buy it, I would like to create a banquet, light versatile robust useful for any eventuality, perhaps to disassemble delicate objects, what can you suggest to me, I state that an emporium was selling 80 € therefore between material and time I should save, perhaps by recycling objects or other materials. what do you think, thanks greetings.
  16. sorry if I disturb, by chance you would have a drawing with the measurements, I would like to make the shape with a cardboard paste it on the foil and trace it and remove the excessive metal, the handle maybe I do it in wood sorry if I disturbed you but on the net if not it is prudent an infinite number of news comes out, maybe I should use a Russian site rumemo of Cossacks or gypsies thanks again and sorry if I disturbed you greetings angelino greetings to all. thanks for your precious time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kukri
  17. if it were possible I would need some information, I would like to build a Russian or Romanian knife"yatagan knife" I think it is a Russian hunting knife for bears or maybe it was used by Romanian or Eastern European gypsies I don't know where it came from, but I didn't find the size or the design of the original blade, the drawings on the net look like Filipino bayonets or kucri , let me know thanks I would like to try my hand as a cutler, what material should I use, suspensions crossbow do you think is suitable, and the handle and the grip. thank you. in a photo he says that it is an Ottoman saber, it is not clear.

  19. hi I need some advice, I would like to build a cart for the garden, you will tell me use the wheelbarrow, but the cart has 4 wheels that unload the weight on the ground while the wheelbarrow 1, I would need to understand what material to use which wheels and how to make it steering, on the net I have seen all kinds of stores sell it very expensive and are not robust. I would need it to transport stones, bricks, wood and other heavy materials that are inconvenient for me to carry with the wheelbarrow. the ground is not compact it has little lift so in my opinion you need the right wheels. how would you do what size to make the frame, how much maximum I can load it clearly should be the replacement of the tracked wheelbarrow but with muscle traction and not a tracked engine. what do you recommend? the ground and sloping moraine with steps and terracing is bumpy in some points it is therefore not very compact, when it rains it blows into a swamp, thanks. 20. I should use the right materials to make it strong strong but light at the same time, I am afraid that the fixing supports are not adequate enough. Thank you.
  21. Point Carry-All Fork Attachment hello sorry if I disturb, could you kindly suggest me how to build a self-loading rear bucket fork for this old fiat tractor, in my part it is called the pruning fork, as you call it. how do I make it to be light and sturdy?
  22. better round or flat iron? I have a welding machine, I do not regulate myself in giving the right shape to the ladle, the same is used to collect the stones and accumulate them, and at a later time shovel them and maybe load them on a wheelbarrow to transport them elsewhere and set them aside. what would you suggest?
  23. hi, sorry if I disturb surfing the net I found a rake suitable for both digging stones from the ground and potatoes. I think it could come in handy, but the cost would be a bit high. could you kindly suggest me and help me to make a similar one perhaps more effective using maybe pieces of round iron or other materials suitable for the realization of the artifact, the tool looks like a kitchen spaghetti ladle. let me know, thanks. [Commercial link removed] Any gardener who is plagued with stones, large or small, will appreciate this rake. In designing it, we spent a lot of time getting the right tine shape and spacing so that rocks as small as 3/4" diameter could be removed from the soil without taking a lot of dirt as well. In well-tilled soil, it is an easy matter to clear the top 2" or 3" completely of stones. Once you have raked together a pile of stones, you can scoop them up in the basket-shaped head. No more stooping to pick them up or trying to rake them onto a spade. The rock rake picks them up for transfer to a wheelbarrow or bucket, or even for surreptitious dropping over a fence. It can also be used to catapult the stones some distance. The whole tool is light (the head weighs only 3/4 lb) and has hardened steel tines that flex without deforming. 65" overall, with a 6" wide basket. In our tests, we found it to be an outstanding invention, removing all rocks from 3/4" to 4" in diameter, leaving a smooth stone-free soil. Also ideal for harvesting potatoes.
