  2. Where did you get the cable, i've been looking all over for some time now, and i cannot find any. Great work by the way i like the layers in the handle
  3. I'm going to make some tongs today, and i do not think i'll need something so big as the Woop tongs, but they would be nice for larger stock. I have a tough time with tongs. I guess make both and see which get used more.
  4. On my list as well Dan. Keep up hope, there are a multitude of things that it could be, and not all of them bad.
  5. Nothing Yet has come my way while forging, but i was using a grinder to cut some exhaust pipe and the wheel exploded tearing apart my middle finger knuckle, and putting a quarter inch dent in the metal wall of the shop i was in that hurt for a while, and i still have a scar:(

  8. I have a squirrel cage type fan out of a furnace, this is for taking in the cold air i think. it's hooked u to a dimmer switch

  11. i am currently in a coal slump. i have none:p and i'm thinking of trying cowboy natural charcoal. I was wondering if you can get it hot enough to forge weld with? i need to know for my next project.

  17. that sounds like a great idea, +1 for coal, i'm just beginning but i used a 40 pound bag of coal in about 10 hours, and i like the nostalgia of the coal. plus there can be no price tag for the lessons learned in patience when starting a coal fire
