  1. Try it in the open format with machine tools in the back as you planned, and add the wall latter if you feel it suits your space. I've been considering a similar division between forging and finishing blades but haven't defined the finishing operation yet. Buffing,grinding drilling, assembly etc.
  2. Did a lot of filing to day. Flattened it out and profiled, got the basic shape, with the big file. Drilled pin holes. Will start tang taper and blade bevel next.

    This isn't the "KABAR" you've posted about , and not sure if it fits "historical", But it is a Kabar and I know it's old. (If this doesn't fit here feel free to move.) Maybe circa 1920's 0r 1930'? Its very small. Anyone able to date this , or know about this knife? Thanks Mark
