  1. rgraff o1 was suggested to me by http://www.popsknifesupplies.com/ as the best forgable knife steel that he knew of in his opinion i have finished one knife so far from it now i am a complete noob still on knives but i like the way it works and would like to get some more where did you buy the round from? my knife is here good luck

  3. i was at an old tractor day in saluda SC. the first sat. of this month there were 2 smiths from this guild there one had made a rr spike head in the shape of a cows head. the senior smith gave a buddy of mine the split head so he could try it. i was wondering if there would be any pictures of one to be able to be posted here as an idea for others
  4. i shined it back out that night yet and it is a better shine than before
  5. metal that was accidental and had been asking on chat what to to stop it from growing and to prevent it sam and others helped me i just put the pics here so they could see what i was talking about

  7. i got a golden oak stain and two coats of butcher block oil (dads idea) it now shaves hair and yet to see how long it will last

  10. ok all thats left now is the finishing lol i just have to stain and seal the handle and it will be finished. Rough shaping pics ok next pics will be shined blade and final shape for the hanlde which is oak i am tossing tis idea up in my mind. maybe i should take that part of the handle on the top of the blade closer to the highth of the blade

  13. nvm i called mr pop knives and he called around to his customers and we got it figured out ty for all yer help though
  14. wont turn out quite as long as planned the tip broke twice as i was ahem forcing the handle on al little much but it was a little long already for a paring knife changed my mind bout the handle type it got an oak one it all needs grinding out yet just glued the handle on today so will post pics when i get it basic shaped again lol royce

  16. let me know when you are back pls as i would like to come peer over your shoulder so to speak and learn what you got to teach if you wouldnt mind if you are from lousville i am sure you have heard of central steel buildings then. i live in the brick house across the road from there and kyler lives across the woods from there.

  20. my stand for my #2-0-12 pw here is the link i now have a 100 lb pw too it sits on a stump dad brought over thiking i wouldnt be satisfied with my metal stand
